Our Story-

Brette’s love of love really stemmed since childhood. If she could ask her younger self, she would say her dream job was to be a wedding planner, after watching Jennifer Lopez’s The Wedding Planner and imagining making couples happy on their big day. That is still her goal with each couple she works with today: to make them happy on their most special day. It really does make her happy when you are happy. It’s important to her that you feel at ease and just having fun on your special day. She has always loved planning and setting up parties with her friends, and that passion for organizing and planning soon morphed into a passion for filmmaking, since she was 12 years old—making movies is really a production, and weddings are almost similar to a movie set.

She pursued a film degree at The Uni. of Colorado, Boulder and found herself drawn to telling heartfelt love stories on camera. Love has always inspired her deeply, so it makes perfect sense why she does weddings. Her love of floral design blossomed [literally] after she graduated school, and she never looked back. Floral design took over as she learned everything she needed to know about wedding florals.

With a filmmaking background, and experience in event coordination and floral design; she brings well-rounded 6+ years of experience and confidence within the wedding industry. It truly is in her soul to capture your story on Super 8 film and video, design your dream flowers, and help make your wedding dreams come true.

When she isn’t doing weddings, you’ll probably find her at the park playing with her two-year-old son, sipping a lavender latte, relaxing with family, or doing something creative [always!]
